Joplin woman hurt in traffic accident at intersection

A 28-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:35 p.m. Monday at Range Line and Newman roads, according to Joplin police.

Evangeline J. Kiser, of Joplin, was taken to Freeman Hospital West, police said.

She was a passenger in a northbound car driven by Seth T. Kiser, 31, of Joplin, that collided with a southbound car driven by Eugenia L. Cathren, 40, of Joplin, when Cathren made a left turn in front of Kiser’s vehicle, the report said.
