Carthage man hurt in motorcycle crash on Old 66

A Carthage man was injured in a motorcycle accident about 3:20 p.m. Thursday on Old Highway 66, about four miles west of Carthage, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Steven L. Stapleton , 60, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin after the motorcycle he was riding ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.
