Riverton man faces three counts of rape

COLUMBUS, Kan. — Travis Odom, 41, of Riverton, has been charged in Cherokee County District Court with three counts of rape and three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department arrested Odom on Thursday morning after a two-week investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.

He was being held at the Cherokee County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

A news release from the Sheriff’s Department said the investigation is continuing.
