Two people charged with robbing Joplin woman of $10

Two suspects have been charged with robbing a Joplin woman of $10 during an incident Friday night in the 1400 block of East Valley Street.

Police Cpl. Chuck Niess said Earl V. Cox Jr., 45, and Sheri L. McGee, 50, were arrested about 7 p.m. and charged with second-degree robbery. He said one of the suspects allegedly held Tracey Y. Latham, 51, while the other took the money from her.

Cox also was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
