NEOSHO, Mo. — A tall, slender man armed with a handgun robbed the owner and an employee of the Pad Tai restaurant in Neosho on Wednesday night as the business was closing.
The robber approached the male owner and a female employee about 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the business at 204 N. Neosho Blvd. and demanded money. He made off with a money bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash and a backpack full of electronic equipment, according to Lt. David Kennedy of the Neosho Police Department.
The robber was described as being about 6 feet 5 inches tall, with long, braided hair. He was clad entirely in black, including a bandanna he wore across his face.
Kennedy said the gunman ran west from the business. Neosho police and Newton County sheriff’s deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the robber.
