Aurora resident injured in accident east of Wheaton



A resident of Aurora was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday on Route W, two miles east of Wheaton in Barry County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Jamie L. Britton, 21, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.

Britton was driving a westbound car that ran off the road and struck a sign and a culvert, the patrol said.

• An Anderson resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday on Poppy Drive, two miles west of Neosho in Newton County, according to the state patrol.

Dylan R. Hudson, 20, was taken to Freeman Neosho Hospital, the patrol said.

Hudson was driving a westbound car that ran off the road and struck a culvert, the patrol said.

• A 22-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 10:46 p.m. Monday on Range Line Road at 15th Street, according to a Joplin police report.

Justin R. Copeland, of Joplin, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West.

Copeland was driving a southbound vehicle that collided with a northbound car driven by Juliana Jacob, 55, of Joplin, as Jacob attempted a left turn, the report said.
