Joplin woman killed in single-vehicle accident



A 28-year-old Joplin woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 2:45 p.m. Thursday on Apricot Drive, two miles west of Joplin in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Lindsay R. Pankratz was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Newton County coroner, the state patrol said.

Pankratz was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road, overturned and struck a tree, the patrol said.
