Three injured in traffic accidents on roads in area



A Noel man was injured early Friday when the motorcycle he was riding struck a deer on Route DD, two miles north of Noel in McDonald County, according the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Jaron A. Stevens, 35, who was northbound, suffered moderate injuries in the accident about 3:30 a.m. He was taken by private vehicle to a hospital in Gravette, Ark.

• On Thursday, the patrol investigated a collision of two cars at about 1 p.m. at Highway 59 and Clemon Drive in Neosho.

The patrol said a westbound car driven by Mishelle Hill, 40, of Neosho, and a southbound car driven by Mark J. Chitweed, of Valley Park, collided.

Mishelle Hill suffered moderate injuries, and Robert Hill, 42, an occupant in the car, sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Freeman Neosho Hospital.
