Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday on 20th Street at Indiana Avenue, according to a Joplin police report.
One of the drivers, Crystal M. Olson, 31, and her passenger, Rusty W. Rowden, 36, both of Joplin, were taken to Freeman Hospital West.
Their westbound car ran into the rear of a westbound vehicle driven by Michael A. Peevy, 47, of rural Idabel, Okla., when Peevy stopped for a red light, police said.
