Carthage police probing break-in at strip mall

CARTHAGE, Mo. — Police are investigating an apparent break-in overnight Monday at several businesses at a Carthage strip mall.

Police Chief Greg Dagnan said in a news release that someone entered the shopping center at 2104 S. Garrison Ave. via a hole created in the back of the mall. The burglary was reported at 6:13 a.m. Tuesday.

Dagnan said more information about the number of businesses affected and the type of property stolen would be released as the investigation proceeds. Anyone with information about the crime, police said, is being asked to call police at 417-237-7200.
