Sheldon teenager hurt in car accident

A Sheldon teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route A, two miles north of Milford in Barton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Anthony W. Wiley, 17, was taken to Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, the state patrol said.

Wiley was driving a northbound car that ran off the road, and struck a culvert, a utility pole and a fence, the patrol said.
