Two charged after search in Pittsburg

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Two people face drug charges after Pittsburg police on Wednesday searched their home.

Billy Lee White, 32, and Distystet Lynn Long, 33, both of 604 N. Grand St., are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

Police, working with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation’s Southeast Kansas Drug Enforcement Task Force, went to the house with a search warrant, according to a statement issued by police Lt. Cris M. Hatcher.

The drugs and paraphernalia allegedly were found during the search.
