Firefighters snuff electrical blaze; no injuries cited

A small electrical fire was doused Thursday in the 1500 block of South Jackson Avenue by the Joplin Fire Department.

The fire was reported at 8:34 a.m. The resident, Cheryl Apperson, was at home, but was not injured.

The fire department was at the scene about 11⁄2 hours.
