Two Aurora men shot outside grocery store; two suspects arrested
Two suspects are in custody after a shooting Friday night in Aurora injured two people, according to a probable-cause statement released Saturday by the Aurora Police Department.

Defendant sent to prison in Joplin street robbery
A Jasper County judge assessed a 20-year-old defendant six years in prison Friday for a robbery committed with a BB gun this past summer on a Joplin street. Jessie D. Moser, of Joplin, pleaded guilty in Jasper County Circuit Court to a reduced charge of second-degree robbery in a plea agreement with the prosecutor’s office that called for him to waive his right to a sentencing-assessment report and to receive six years in prison.
