Chamber announces finalists for Small Business of Year Award

PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce and BKD, LLP announced the finalists for the 2013 Small Business of the Year Award.

Based upon evidence of successful operations, as well as significant contributions to the community, Eagle Beverage Co., Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union and Vietti Auto Body were chosen by the Small Business of the Year Review Committee.

During the next few weeks, the committee will conduct interviews with each of the finalists. The winner of the 2013 Small Business of the Year Award will be announced at the chamber's annual banquet on May 23.
