JOPLIN, Mo. —
O'Reilly Hospitality Management announced today that a business formed by its Chief Executive Officer, Tim O'Reilly, has purchased the 74-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott at 4026 Arizona Ave., Joplin.
He plans to immediately begin a $1 million renovation the hotel that will transform the guest suites and common area, the exercise room and pool, provide a new breakfast room, updated signage and more.
As part of an all-suite brand designed for travelers who need accommodations for longer stays, the updates will help guests live like locals and experience the comforts of home while on the road, the company said in a statement.
O'Reilly Hospitality Management will manage the property.
“As our guests’ needs evolve, it is so important that TownePlace Suites continues to provide them with lodging solutions that support their lives on the road,” Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, said in a statement.
TownePlace Suites by Marriott is an all-suite, extended-stay hotel brand.
