Today is the last day to nominate a small business for the 2010 Small Business of the Year Awards presented by BKD and the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce. The awards recognize the contributions of small businesses to the local economy and to the overall progress of the Joplin area.
Awards will be presented to three deserving businesses serving Joplin: One business employing one to 10 employees, one employing 11-50 employees, and one not-for-profit.
Nominees must be in good standing with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and must have been a Joplin chamber member for two years.
