*Matt Major has joined Community Bank & Trust as a business services manager. He will be responsible for coordinating the bank’s business services.
Major has been in the banking industry since 2001 and previously worked for CBT as a cashier/teller from 2003 to 2004. He attended Missouri Southern State University. His office is at CBT’s south Joplin branch at 5230 S. Range Line Road.

U.S. Bank recently announced the following promotions.
*Kristin Crook has been promoted to branch manager of the Wheaton office at 118 E. Main St. She will manage the sales and service activities of the office.
Crook has worked for U.S. Bank for nearly four years, most recently as a universal banker.
A native of Granby, she is a graduate of East Newton High School and went on to study at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College.
*Kelly Garst has joined U.S. Bank as manager of its 306 N. Broadway office in Pittsburg, Kan.
She has worked in the banking and mortgage lending industry in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma for the past 17 years, and most recently was branch and sales manager of HSBC Beneficial.
She grew up in Clear Lake, Texas, and studied at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College.
*Samantha Hull has been promoted to branch manager of the Monett office at 832 E. Highway 60. She will manage sales and service activities.
She has worked for U.S. Bank for the past two years and most recently served as sales and service coordinator, a post for which she was recognized by U.S. Bank for superior performance.
Hull is a graduate of Monett High School and holds a business management degree from Missouri Southern State University.
