Missouri American Water Co. has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a variance from commission rules regarding discontinuance of service.
Missouri American wants to modify the effective period of a notice of discontinuance of service from 11 business days to 20 business days for its quarterly billed customers in its St. Louis County service area.
