The following people have been approved by the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors to stand for election for three-year terms on the board. The terms will run from April 2010 to March 2013.

Larry Boyd, Zimmer Radio Inc.

Doug Doll, Arvest Bank.

Michelle Ducre, Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Steven Graddy, Freeman Health System.

Charles Keeter, Osborn Paper Co.

Fred Osborn, Commerce Bank.

Gary Pulsipher, St. John’s Regional Medical Center.

Larry Warren, Atlas Risk Management LLC.

Additional candidates may be nominated by petitions bearing the signatures of at least 20 qualified chamber members. Each member may sign only one such petition. Petitions must be filed with the nominating committee by noon Dec. 23 at the chamber office, 320 E. Fourth St.

If no petitions nominating additional candidates are filed, the above slate will be declared elected by the board of directors.
