JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. —
Republicans in Congress have given Missouri Rep. Sam Graves another term as chairman of the House Small Business Committee.
Graves won re-election earlier this month in the 6th Congressional District, which includes all of northern Missouri. His new term as committee chairman was ratified Wednesday by House Republicans.
Graves says he considers it the committee’s job to fight for small businesses and “protect them from too much government interference.”
He originally was chosen as committee chairman after Republicans won control of the House in the 2010 elections.
