RIVERTON, KS —
Mark Kevin Williams, age 48, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, at his home.
Mark was born July 27, 1963, in Joplin, Mo. His parents were Jack and Marilyn (Winfrey) Williams. He returned to the area in 1993, after living several years in Olathe, Kan.
He earned an associate degree as a diesel and gas mechanic. He enjoyed helping his friends and family fix their broken vehicles and lawn mowers. He attended 5th Street Mission, Baxter Springs, Kan. His favorite pastime was fishing.
Surviving is his father, Jack Williams, Riverton; one brother, Chris Alan Williams, Columbus, Kan.; and three sisters, Kandi Sue Stark, Olathe, Kim Renee Ange, Girard, Kan., and Cindi Louise Messer, Edgerton, Kan. His mother, Marilyn Williams passed away in 1996.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Lowell Cemetery, Lowell, Kan. Pastor Bryant McLaughlin will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, Kan.
