Voices: Step out of box

— Country/Christian music at Boomtown — once again! Does it ever occur to the organizers there are many people out there with other tastes? How about some jazz — there are some wonderful local jazz combos, the same for bluegrass. I’m sure some local rock ’n’ roll groups are dying for exposure. And, God forbid anything classical! The young man in Oronogo would probably love playing his violin to an audience.
Organizers, please step out of the box before this celebration is closed down because of boredom.
