Voices: Do your job

— This first full week of May, I listened, via the Internet, to our Missouri House of Representatives debate bills prior to voting for or against a bill. I was amazed. They bickered, whined, even repeated themselves over and over!
And I pay them for this. After months and months of meetings and conferences on each bill, they are still making silly and stupid statements about trivial remarks. I thought these were well-educated professionals we sent to our capital.
Now, this second full week of May is their last for this year’s session, and so many bills await their vote. Do your job! Stop delaying votes, quit whining and most of all, know someone is listening this week — I am. And come November, I get a vote.
