I was unprepared for the surprise that awaited me when I walked down my driveway to fetch my Joplin Globe on Friday, May 11.

I am referring to the article by Jeff Lehr, titled “Woman: Man photographed, molested her.”

Alcohol, naked photos and lurid descriptions of sex acts. I had to have a cigarette after reading this article.

I then went back to the front page and looked for an R or NC-17 rating for this issue. The only questions I have now are: Who will play the lead in the movie version — Paris or Britney? Will they shoot on location in Carthage? Perhaps the working title could be “Desperate Housewives-Carthage Style.”
