Voices: Checkers and chess
I see in this Iranian election that we have way too many checker players and are really short on chess players. I am so thankful that our president is a “chess” player.
Iran is hooked up around the world and it is trying to drag us into a “fight” and create anarchy. Iran’s leaderes are doing everything in their power to bring us down with our own “cowboy” actions.
I am watching a bunch of politicians in our Congress jump up ready to fight, when they do not even have the power or the money to win a fight. I wish that we had more people in our Congress who were chess players, but sadly most are checker players.
Iran is in North Korea, Venezuela, and many other places gathering up some big- profile backup. This is not going to end with any kind of success with a fight, but some serious work behind the scenes.
I would just mention we got into a mess in Iraq and broke the “bank” doing it, something we are still fighting to recover from, so all you cowboys who want a big fight put your money where your mouths are.
I have noticed through a lifetime of living that most fights can be avoided, but when you have no choice you must know where to strike the first blow. I will have to thank our president for holding his head and not going off half-cocked, running his moth, but instead staying calm, while planning his first strike if and when he will have to use it. I would suggest all you cowboys ready for a fight to go sign up in our military and get some serious and real experience.
This world has become way too small to go off fighting wars, killing innocents, destroying the environment, with no hope of any kind of a good outcome. The “family” I live in is not perfect by any means, but we agree to disagree. Sometimes we have to love some of our family from afar until they can come back to the real world. Even I was there in my years of trying to find out what the true value of life is all about. The idea of fighting and winning is a nice dream, but with every fight comes all kinds of problems.
