I find it amusing there is going to another “tea party” in one of the parks in Joplin.
Has the idea of getting all the services all of you expect for free taken hold so deeply that it has blinded people to the fact that this is exactly what the right has branded welfare?
Getting something for nothing is a conservative pet peeve that they rail about constantly. Where are your conservative principles in expecting a military to fight for you without paying for it? How about the roads that need maintenance? Police? Fire Department? Reading about how conservatives in California have come face to face with the consequences of this type of thought leaves me wondering why anyone would think that somehow the services would magically appear if they are needed without any of the much-quoted conservative “work ethic.”
After all, isn’t free market about getting money for goods and services?
