Voices: Less government

October 05, 2008 08:35 pm

A report in the Globe mentions that a few protesters chose to picket the headquarters of Obama in Joplin. Comments posted on the Web site range from opposition to the protesters to praise that they would make public their opinion.
Since I didn’t drive by during their picketing, I’ve no right to express my opinion. I’ll do it anyway. We all should oppose the murder of innocent babies anywhere any time. We all should approve of making abortion rare but available for those few cases where it’s the best option.
And surely we all should help care for any baby born who has needs beyond what loving parents can fulfill.
The political party will get my vote which favors less government interference with the public rather than more.
