Does Department of Natural Resources Director Doyle Childers receive salary from the state of Missouri or from the companies that need his OK to set up their stink plants which pollute the air and other natural resources which I thought he was protecting?

He cannot be paid by both — that doesn’t sound legal. I cannot believe he “rubber stamps” each and every application if it is properly done. So many citizens do not want these stink operations near their homes and businesses.

Missouri’s motto is “The will of the people shall be the supreme law.” It would seem the will of the people does not count at all. Where does Gov. Matt Blunt stand on this matter in that he appointed Childers?

The people need to know where Blunt stands on this and he needs to let us hear from him. Maybe he and Childers should be replaced. They do realize the people in Missouri pay their salaries and they are “hired” by the people.
