Ceremony to mark push for Civil War memorial

Organizers hope that today’s ceremony marking the 150th anniversary of a Civil War battle northwest of Joplin also will encourage support to finance a permanent memorial on the site.

NEOSHO, Mo. — Republican leadership has threatened to shut down the government on numerous occasions.

I see nothing to vote for. Todd Akin wouldn’t get my vote, either.

Did Clint Eastwood make the top 5 percent on income and endorse the Republican Party to avoid taxes? All of the money is hidden by donations so you can buy anyone.

I am no longer an independent voter. Sink or swim with the Democrats all the way.
