CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. —
President Obama could win re-election on his own merits of saving the auto industry, eliminating bin Laden, appointing outstanding Supreme Court justices and federal judges, and advocating fairness and equality for all.
However, he will more likely win re-election based on what the Republican candidate says and does and does not do.
It was the final straw last Wednesday when Mitt Romney blasted President Obama for his handling of the Libyan crisis in a most unpatriotic, un-American and immature manner. Added to the fact that he won’t release his tax returns, hides money in offshore accounts, fired people and closed factories at Bain Capitol, and told Detroit to go bankrupt, what more reasons do we need to re-elect the president? Mitt Romney has provided most of the reasons.
On Nov. 6, expect to see an Obama win of 322-216 in the electoral college and 51 percent to 46 percent in the popular vote, with 3 percent going for minor party candidates. For the Democrats and for America, Mitt Romney is the gift that keeps on giving. If he keeps up his remarks in the next seven weeks, expect to see a Democratic takeover of the United States House and Democrats hanging on to the Senate.
