Voices: Nothing is free

JOPLIN, Mo. — As a citizen of this great country, of course I will vote yes for Proposition C. Last time I checked, health care is not a “right.”

But choosing whether I want to carry it or not is. No, freedom is not free. It is paid for by our soldiers to have the right to say no.

They do not fight to have the government take our freedom away from us, which is happening day by day. The idea that we will save money with this health care bill is crazy. Nothing is free except the right to freedom. Take that away and we have nothing.
