Your View: A new status?

JOPLIN, Mo. — Texlaokanmonedako is my name for a new confederation of oil-producing states, and I do need to add Montana and Wyoming to the list, too. We will sell our oil and natural gas to the East and West Coasts, so they can end their dependence on the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Companies.

A side benefit of this new status is that we would be independent of the ruling class in Washington, D.C. We could make our own laws, have our own constitution and generally be free. This is in contrast to the heavy-handed approach of those currently in Washington.

I imagine Texas will be the leader of this movement as it would be the biggest stakeholder in the OPMS (Oil-Producing Midwestern States). The rest of flyover territory would probably join out of self interest, and the combined confederation would be self-sustaining.
