JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri first-graders would have to take a gun safety course under a bill being considered by a state Senate committee.

Sen. Dan Brown, a Republican from Rolla, outlined his proposal last week for the chamber’s General Laws Committee.

Just how far down the road of “stupid and asinine” are our elected officials going to go? Is there no limit? Now these elected officials want our first-graders to take a gun safety course?

If this is the best you can do, go back to your home city and take up a real job like welding, construction or something. You are not worthy of elected office. Go home.
