Your View: What this country needs

NEOSHO, Mo. — In reading the Globe, I found out that Hobby Lobby raised its minimum wage.

I am an old man, and I know and have seen more than most.

Higher wages will not get this country back to being the America that I fought for, only to find out we were being used by the people in the federal government to fuel their money machines. Now, they have come up against someone they cannot beat. This is due to them being the same countries this country saved in other wars.

What this country needs is twofold. We need to get back to obeying God’s laws and tending to business in this country.

Wages should be paid to the people for their work. Another thing that would help would be for all businesses to stop taking government annuity money.

Please help bring this country back to where it once was.
