Your View: Let’s not be ‘Bushwhacked’

JOPLIN, Mo. — Bush kept his promise, he got rid of those nasty Clinton budget surpluses, busted open the Social Security lock box, and doubled the national debt to finance tax cuts for the rich.

Obama gave you food stamps in every pot and bus tickets in the garage.

It’s the Philadelphia story all over again, do you want more Bushonomics or more Obamanomics?

When the doctor told W.C. Fields he was going to die, Fields replied: “All things considered I would rather be in Philadelphia.”

The country is deep in debt, and Sen. Mitch McConnell and the good old boys in Congress should be taking pay cuts, not tax cuts. They voted for tax credits for American companies that built new factories in Asia and closed American factories down.

Can we keep Mitt, and get rid of Mitch?

Twelve years of autocratic government is enough. You don’t have representative government when only liberals or conservatives make the decisions and moderates are ignored. You have the social unrest that comes with autocratic government.

With unlimited power, Paul Ryan would create more debt, cutting Dick Cheney’s capital gains taxes to zero. Dick said debt is not a problem. Ryan’s plan would threaten middle class Americans who aren’t as fortunate as me. You watch your wallet, I’ll watch the debt.

Let’s not be Bushwhacked again.
