JOPLIN, Mo. —
The primary is drawing near and it is time to make a decision.
Bill White and his wife, who is a respected physician, have lived with their four children in the Joplin area for over 18 years.
Bill White has served his country as a Marine, obtained a law degree and served as an advocate for abused children, volunteered as a teacher at Martin Luther school and McAuley High School, is pro-life, and has participated in many other civic and community activities. He has based his campaign on the principle of small government, less taxes, affordable health care and economic growth.
Right now his opponent in the 129th legislative district, Shelly Dreyer, is facing a disagreeable dispute resulting in legal actions initiated by her former law partner in St. Charles. This was recently revealed but NOT addressed with a responsible disclosure to the constituents prior to the recent news stories.
According to recent findings, the majority of individual contributions to Shelly Dreyer’s campaign have come from out-of-town trial attorneys. A majority of these attorneys have contributed to the Democratic Party and to Democratic candidates. A recent contribution in the amount of $55,000 was received from Missouri Freedom, which has ties to a lawyers’ lobbyist group. Why would a large percentage of Democrat-leaning lawyers and associates want to lend a hand and contribute to a Republican campaign?
It’s worth repeating this old axiom from the past:
Everything you’ve done in the past influences what you will do in the future.
William “Bill” White: a conservative Republican in the past, a conservative Republican in the future.
