Your View: Concerning rhetoric

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Those who live in the United States need to be concerned about North Korea’s nuclear propaganda and rhetoric against the United States and its allies.

North Korea’s threatening words are historical and repetitive emotional expressions, made in hopes of securing benefits and gaining the attention of the world.

Even if they say they want no money or food, those are the goals they want to achieve.

We know that North Korea is weak and unable to accomplish any military gain against South Korea or the United States without the involvement of China, which is standing in a neutral position.

Still, the United States needs to be concerned and closely observe the North Korea matter. And it needs to be ready to use an anti-missile strike if necessary.
