Your View: Word of caution

DIAMOND, Mo. — I decided something needs to be done about all of the car accidents that have taken place on Highway 59 in front of JR’s Western Store north of Diamond.

There is a caution light at the intersection. But for some reason people have been getting killed at the corner for a long time. Maybe some of the drivers are not very good when it comes to judging distance and some people might be driving too fast to avoid having a traffic accident.

I hope everyone will try to be more aware of this particular area and will start slowing down more and trying to do better when judging distances to avoid traffic accidents.
