In my time, I have been involved in my share of elections. Many have come and gone, but there is a current election campaign that has aroused my attention. That is Randee Kaiser’s campaign for Jasper County Sheriff.
It has been brought to my attention from various sources that yard signs that read “Vote for Randee Kaiser” are being stolen at an alarming rate.
To the best of my knowledge, this is happening during the early morning hours when there are fewer people around to witness this unethical act.
Many friends and voters with whom I have spoken have indicated to me that they are still undecided on which candidate they will vote for. Capt. Kaiser has the qualifications, education, experience and leadership to hold the office of sheriff and do so in a professional manner. Now is the time for a change.
