Your View: Who cares?

REPUBLIC, Mo. — Why are members of Congress gathering together to get their photo op on the news, so they can call other members of Congress “racist” and “sexist” because they called U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice “incompetent?”

She is either incompetent or she is a liar. She told the American people several times that the attack on Sept. 11 in Benghazi, Libya, was the result of a “disgusting video” and claimed that the administration has al-Qaida on its heels.

The truth is that Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three men who tried to protect him were killed by al-Qaida terrorists on the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

Why aren’t these members of Congress trying to find out who failed to carry out the order to protect these men that the president said he issued? Why aren’t these members of Congress trying to find out why Ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi on the anniversary of 9/11 without proper security detail? Why aren’t these members of Congress trying to find out why Ambassador Rice made false statements in her televised appearances describing the events in Benghazi?

Why? Because we should feel bad that Ambassador Rice had her feelings hurt? Who cares about how Ambassador Rice feels? Ambassador Stevens is dead.
