Your View: Voting for Roy

JOPLIN, Mo. — In answer to Bob Noel’s letter (Globe, April 24) criticizing Sen. Roy Blunt for voting against the gun bill, it is interesting that Mr. Noel seems to think that nine out of 10 favor the bill.

If he would look at it seriously, he might find there are many who would agree that is not the answer to punish all of the innocent people because of several who seem to have gone crazy and want to kill others. Those people will find a way.

Look at the Boston Marathon bombing. Should we now make nails and pressure cookers illegal?

Take a good look at drugs, alcohol and hostile religions. Get real. Check for the hostility and violence on TV programs and video games.

All I can say is think about it. I will vote for Roy Blunt.
