Your View: A clinic for veterans

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — When the new Mercy Hospital in Joplin is complete, something that should be considered is making the present Mercy Hospital a much-needed veterans hospital and clinic.

It would serve the veterans in Southwest Missouri, Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

At the present, veterans have to travel to Mount Vernon, Kansas City, Fayetteville, Ark., Wichita, Kan., and Tulsa, Okla.
