Voices: Evolution ‘wishful thinking’

Many scientists believe the dinosaurs disappeared quickly, as in a cataclysmic event. In Luke 10:18, Jesus said he watched Satan fall from heaven like a flash of lightning. This may have been the catastrophe that killed the dinosaurs. This event may have happened long before Adam and Eve were created. The young Earth theory is probably wrong.

Concerning evolution, it is noteworthy that not all evolutionists are atheists. I can only speculate, but probably many atheistic evolutionists consider themselves the only true evolutionists.

The belief that humans evolved is merely wishful thinking. The atheistic evolutionists may retort that I believe in God merely because I want to believe in heaven. The retort is true. But it’s also true I believe in Jesus simply because he wants me to. Jesus has the ability to cause people to believe in him. But he gives everyone a free will. He doesn’t force anyone to believe in him. On this issue he is pro-choice.

To those who believe: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! To those who don’t believe: Happy New Year!
