What can our president do about all the problems and dangers associated with Iraq and Afghanistan?
Afghanistan has never been conquered. It turned out to be Russia’s Vietnam when the communists tried to subdue the Afghans and failed. This helped President Ronald Reagan to bring down the evil empire. So what can Obama do to save our own country’s economy and almost certain failure?
Well, he could just declare victory and bring our troops home and deploy them on our Mexican border to secure it and protect us from drugs, crime and murder.
For the past 25 years, we have been invaded by a foreign nation. Our politicians didn’t have guts enough to defend our southern border. If present procreation trends continue, then the United States will be just another Latino nation in less than another 25 years.
Is this really what we want? What happened to our melting pot? There. I’ve said it. Now someone will probably brand me with that hatred word — racist. Well, if telling you the truth makes me a racist, then I plead guilty. Incidentally, I really value all my many good black, Asian and Hispanic friends. No man can afford to lose a friend. Abe Lincoln said it best: “It is our friends that make life worth living.”
I couldn’t care less about race or color. It’s what’s under that skin that matters to me.
