Voices: Can’t be both ways

In regard to Gene Lyons’ column (Globe, June 13), according to Gene, Bill O’Reilly was responsible for Dr. George Tiller’s death.

Who knows, maybe he is right, but if he is then simple logic says that either Allah or the Imam of the killer of Pvt. William Long is too.

If one is right then both are. I will be waiting to see the article on that as I’m sure there are no double standards involved here. The fact is that an idiot killed Tiller and an idiot killed Pvt. Long, and neither Bill O’Reilly nor anyone else held a gun to their heads and made them do those terrible acts.

No matter if you are a liberal or conservative you can’t have it both ways.
