Your View: Leave it alone

JOPLIN, Mo. — The letter by Gail Henson (Globe, July 1) was right on the mark concerning the issue of  recycling. Nothing was left out.

You folks who desire to recycle, just do it. Just don’t ask me to subsidize you. Friends of mine said the recent Joplin School District bond would not pass, but it did. Whether by one vote or a hundred is a mute issue. Having said that, if the right organizations and groups get behind this recycling issue, trust me, it also will go through. Please keep in mind the elderly and those on a fixed income will get hurt the most. I am, incidentally, in both classes. City administrators and City Council, I beg you to leave my household alone.
