JOPLIN, Mo. —
In answer to Gail Henson’s letter (Globe, July 1):
I have been to the Joplin Recycling Center on West A Street. Many times there is a waiting line to enter. I am not for recycling curb service. We need more convenient centers so more people would have access to them.
Space for landfills is hard to find. All recycled things are being put to better use to save our environment. It’s the American way.
A poem by Chet Stanhope ends this way:
All the things we say and do,
And all the things we share,
Can make this place like God intends
With just a little tender care.
