Your View: Umbrella angel

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — Jan. 12 was a cold, rainy day. I came out of the store with groceries and no umbrella.

I waited at the front for my husband to pull up. A gentleman was standing there close to the door. He immediately opened his umbrella and made sure I was covered.

When my car came up, he opened the back and put my groceries in. He wasn’t a store employee, but he was my guardian angel.

I want to thank him with this letter.
