Your View: Legal Aid helping people

DIAMOND, Mo. — I believe sometimes people need help with certain legal matters and can’t decide what to do when they can’t afford to hire an attorney and pay those high fees.

The best way is to contact the Legal Aid office at 302 S. Joplin Ave. It is in the old federal building behind the Joplin Public Library. They are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or phone 417-782-1650.

Legal Aid is very good at giving advice when you need it.
